Notice: Sourcing Policy for Conflict Minerals / 公告：PUC衝突礦物採購政
As reported by EICC (Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition), certain minerals have become the Democratic Republic of Congo armed rebel groups' main revenue sources. These revenues are used for arms dealing that fuels the blood conflicts between government sources, devastating the local civilian population and thus triggering international disputes.
PUC is dedicated to make sure our products do not use such minerals from the conflicting regions. We also request PUC's suppliers as follows:
1) Do not use the conflict minerals originating from Democratic Republic of Congo and its adjoining countries;
2) Trace the origin of your metals used, eg. gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W). Kindly also fill in the investigation form and insignate your declaration. (Please download the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template);
3) Please also make the same requirements to your upstream suppliers.
EICC指出，部分金屬礦產已成為非洲剛果民主共和國與國內武裝叛亂團體主要財源，用以交易軍火，延續其與政府間的血腥衝突，蹂躪當地平民，引此引發國際爭議。PUC宣示並承諾不接受使用來自衝突礦區的金屬，同時要求PUC的供應商：
1) 確保產品不使用來自剛果及其週圍國家和地區的衝突礦物；
2) 追溯所有產品中所含的金(Au)、鉭(Ta)、鎢(W)來源，所有供應商均應完成填寫調查表(請下載無衝突金屬調查模板Conflict Minerals Reporting Template)；
3) 將此要求傳達給貴司的上游供應商。

The story of PUC began in 1992. At the time, only Germany and Japan could produce PTC heaters. A respectable French company, in a bid to compete, commissioned PUC to produce product designs — and the result was a heater with more desirable features than the market standard at the time.
Fast forward to 1997 — after supplying Europe for 5 years, PUC expanded its reach to the U.S. market. We designed and manufactured for many customers, including famous brands such as King of Fan and Pelonis.
Since then, PUC has expanded its catalogue and manufactured for clients worldwide: Including the U.S., United Kingdoms, Germany, Japan, France, Italy, Canada, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Brazil & Russia.
Today, we continue our services with our engineering team in Taipei, Taiwan, where 10 dedicated R&D professionals design and test products in our expansive in-house research lab. The designs are sent to our factory in GuangDong, China, where the products are manufactured. From just the heater category alone, we supply 800,000 units every year.
